The Enormous Crocodile By Roald Dahl Reviewed by : Francesca C This story is about one crocodile that wants to lunch some little children and he tells all his friends that he wants to eat children and all his friends say that he doesn't have to do that !!!. He tries to eat children and the Humpy Rumpy comes and bumps into the Enormous crocodile. Then he tries again and the Muggle Wump tells the two children to run away. The following day he tries to eat children again and the Roly Poly bird tells the children to run. Then the elephant comes and bumps into the enormous crocodile. If you want to know how the enormous crocodile ends read this book. I like this story because it’s very funny, because the crocodile wants to do something and someone appears and he ruins it. My favorite part was when he goes to the roundabout. I also like this story because of how Roald Dahl writes. I recommend this book to the children that like animals because it has a lot of animals. This book is for children who are 8 or more.About 12 years agoalexiab added a book review.
This story is about a chocolate factory.Under the chocolate paper wrapping there were five golden tickets. The one who got one of it would meet Willy Wonka and go to the enormous and great factory. Charlie wanted to get that golden ticket. Will Charlie get it? I enjoyed the book because it has a lot of suspense especially the part when only one golden ticket is missing to appear and you are willing Charlie to get it. My favourite part is when George’s grandfather dances because he doesn’t dance well. . I recommend this story to the ones who love eating chocolates or sweets. It is appropriate for children of nine or twelve years old.About 12 years agoalexiab added a book review.

This funny story is about a tall giraffe, a hungry pelican and a skinny monkey who are the ladder, the bucket and the cleaner of a window cleaning company! One day they meet a little boy called Billy who dreams of having a sweet shop. Where will they go and work next? What will happen there? Will Billy get what he wants? I enjoyed this book because it is very funny for a giraffe to be used as a ladder, a pelican as a bucket and a monkey as a cleaner. The funniest part of the book is when the boy goes inside the pelican's magical beak. I love the way Roald Dahl writes because he describes a lot all the characters and makes them very interesting. I recommend this book to children who are seven or more and the children who like funny things and dream of owning a sweet shop. Roald Dahl is such an excellent writer because he puts a lot of adjectives and includes adventure and suspense in them.About 12 years agoemilym added a book review.
This adventure story is about a boy who lived in Norway because their parents had died in a car accident and her grandma lived with him. Her grandma told him stories about witches. He didn't believe them but her grandma said that they hated children and they wanted to kill them. They looked like nice beautiful ladies and they tricked everyone but they had know if they were witches. One afternoon he was working on the treehouse that he made with his friend and he saw a lady under the tree that was exactly like grandma described the witches. Could the witch eat him if she was a witch? What would happen? I enjoyed this book because the author uses strange words and I didn't think the ending was going to be as it was. The story is full of intrigue and makes you want to keep on reading it. I recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery stories and books with a bit of intrigue. It is for fourth graders and upper levels, too.About 12 years agoemilym has read this book.
