The Princess Diaries (2001)
A socially awkward but very bright 15-year-old girl being raised by a single mom discovers that she is the princess of a small European country because of the recent death of her long-absent father, who, unknown to her, was the crown prince of Genovia. She must make a choice between continuing the life of a San Francisco teen or stepping up to the throne.

- This movie unlike most movies with princess in the title is not animated nor kiddish. I like to snuggle up on my bungee chair and just watch. The first movie is about a regular teenager who finds out she is a Genovian princess. I would definitely recommend this movie to any age 1-100.

Mia Therompolis is a bright but terribly shy and gawky teen whose goal is to survive each school day with a minimum of attention and embarrassment.
- This movie is hilariously fun! Princess Mia is about to become queen and falls in love with her "Prince Charming". Between princess classes and planning her wedding Mia wonders if she'll ever be ready to take the throne.
- Even though I want to watch it, I'll still give it a four because I watch about half of it, I really loved it. I recognized the princess right away because she was Anne Hathaway, and I love her
