- IT WAS AWESOME jace is so cute :D I WATCHED IT 3 TIMES
- This movie was pretty good, and the acting was ok, too. But there is something missing, but I don't know what exactly. It seemed sort of, I don't know, pale, or sour I guess to the book. I guess it's cause I can tell everyone's personality in one second. It's sorta bland.

- Hands down, the worst book-to-movie adaptation that I have ever watched. I'm really disappointed with Cassandra Clare, I can't believe it. I've been waiting for a movie adaptation for so long, and this is how it turns out. I'm utterly crestfallen. ~ifeelbookish
- bibliophileabout 10 yearsI know... you're totally right!!! I watched it with a friend of mine and I was excited since I was watching it for the first time and I finished the series...but after about 25 minutes of watching, my friend and I thought it was horrible it didn't turn out to be, so we turned it off, and watched a different movie.

- nancydrew963almost 11 yearsi loved the book so much and it was my favorite series for a while until i watched the movie. my cousin was a huge fan of the MI and encouraged me to read the books too, and so i did. pretty soon i was a huge fan of MI, and then i finally got my hands on the movie. i honestly LOVE lily collins but the movie wasn't good. it strayed so far from the book, and it wasn't exactly for the better. it was confusing even though i had read the book, and i REALLY tried to like the movie, but i just couldn't. don't want the movie unless you're ready for a ruined image of the series. i heard they're turning the city of ashes into a movie too, and i really hope it's better than the city of bones.
