When ten-year-old Lewis is suddenly orphaned, he is sent to live with his Uncle Jonathan in a creaky (and creepy) old mansion with a mysterious ticking noise that emanates from the walls. Upon discovering that his uncle is a warlock, Lewis begins learning magic, but when he rebelliously resurrects an evil warlock he must find the secret of the house and save the world from destruction.

                      I hated the movie. I am a Christian so i thought that it was a very evil movie and it has too much witch craft. The rating on this movie is PG but there is cursing, scary scenes, blood, and very rude comments that they try to make into a joke. The movie also has a very disturbing scene that has a demon in it. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone! This movie should not be shown to children and is for mature audiences only. Even as an adult I felt very uncomfortable in the movie theater watching this. I really had high hopes for this movie especially when it has Jack Black in it but sadly i was very disappointed.

                        It's a scary movie. I honestly found it really good. Have you seen A Dog's Purpose? Personally I don't think A Dog's Purpose should be rated PG
