- Tell me, what does the most evil supervillain need to have? The moon, of course! Gru is the most despicable person you can ever and will ever meet! Or, he is convinced he is. He brings misery to all and delights in doing so. After a day of evil doings, he returns home to a blackened, scary-looking home. He goes downstairs and you see....his cute, adorable, hilarious, helper Minions! The Minions are more than willing to help out and try new equipment. (Except for Dr. Nefario's potions) After Gru learns he's being left in the dust of the most newest, meanest, rottenest villains, he plans something no one has ever achieved before. TO STEAL THE MOON! Gru always wanted to go to the moon! It was his childhood hope! Now, not only will he go, but he will own it! It seems like an ingenius idea. All he has to get is get a "leetle" fund from the bank for the rocket, and he's good to go! Oh, and his has to steal one of the most expensive and new pieces of technology, a shrink ray, without getting caught. Gru succeeds in getting the shrink ray! But when he is flying home to put it in safe storage, Vector, the villain who put him in the dust, snatches it up! As Gru plans to take back what is "rightfully his", he adopts three girls as part of his scheme. The girls are Margo, Edith, Agnes, and they want him to be a good dad! The plan works, but soon Gru find himself being less villainous than ever! Can Gru decide what is more important: evil, or parenting? --BKS reviews
