A Wish for Christmas (2016)
Sara Shaw is the type of woman who prefers to sit on the sidelines at work, but when her big idea for a Christmas initiative is stolen, she makes a wish to Santa that she'll finally have the courage to stand up for herself. Santa grants her wish, but only gives her 48 hours. As the clock ticks, Sara will discover how to channel the Christmas magic and speak her mind all on her own.

Sara is a shy and reserved person, perfectly content to work behind the scenes. She's a talented and hardworking employee, but her fear of speaking up has held her back from advancing her career. One day, Sara is given the chance to make a wish. Without hesitation, she asks for the courage to speak up. Her wish is granted, and Sara's life is transformed. With her newfound courage, Sara begins to assert herself at work. She stands up for her ideas and refuses to be taken advantage of. As a result, she starts to earn the respect of her colleagues and superiors. Sara's newfound confidence also leads her to love. She meets and falls in love with a man who appreciates her for who she is and encourages her to be her best self. Knowing that Lacey Chabert was going to be in this movie, I had very high hopes. I was not disappointed! A Wish for Christmas is a heartwarming and inspiring film that teaches us all that it's important to stand up for ourselves. It's a reminder that we all have unique gifts and talents, and that we deserve to be heard. Happy watching!
